To ensure the safety and security of your account, AWA Alliance Bank will require Members to have SMS One Time Password functionality activated in order to use internet banking. Additionally Members are required to update their internet banking passwords to a minimum of 8 characters including a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols. To find out more click here.

Action Required. To make online banking easier, we’ve made some changes.

From 31st May, VIP Access tokens will no longer be available to members. To streamline your Internet banking experience and maintain high levels of security we are asking members to activate SMS verification.

This change will make it quicker and easier for you to log in, transact and manage your banking with either Internet Banking or the Mobile App. To set up watch the quick video below or follow these 5 simple steps:

  1. Log into Internet Banking as you normally do
  2. Navigate to the Services & Help tab in the menu and click on Setup Security Options.
  3. From here you can click 'Request' SMS one time passwords.
  4. If your contact number is pre-entered you can click 'Request'!
    • If the mobile number is wrong or blank click on ‘contact details’ and enter your mobile number, click update, and go back to step 2.
  5. Enter your Internet Banking password one last time and click OK

And that's it!

If you do not set up SMS verifications you will still be able to log in to Internet Banking and the Mobile App however you will be restricted performing some tasks.

We will endeavour to communicate to every member this affects before any limitations are imposed.
