Make the investment of a lifetime and end poverty now!
Phanna, a Cambodian chicken farmer, lived in poverty but wanted to make a better life for herself and her family so she asked CUFA to help her learn to be a Village Entrepreneur.

CUFA’s Village Entrepreneur initiative helps individuals, like Phanna, lift themselves out of poverty by providing her with training, financial advice and basic supplies to start and grow a small home based business.
With the help of her Community Investor, who are everyday Australians, Phanna has grown her small chicken farm into a sustainable source of income for her and her family. She now saves a few dollars a month that can go towards any ‘rainy days’ that might come along.
By supporting individuals like Phanna and helping them start up and grow a business, the community as a whole feels the benefits. Increased products and services made possible by these home based businesses means that locals have greater access
to goods and services they did not have before or had to travel far to receive. The ripple effect is great.
AWA are a proud sponsor of mother of two, Chhum Sophea who is a Village Entrepreneur from Cambodia. AWA’s investment in Chhum is helping her grow her small grocery store and piggery and helping secure a brighter future for her and her family.
Join us and become a Community Investor too and you can help make a difference to a villager’s life for only $37 a month.
